Catch-Up - Sorry I've been rubbish!

I've been so busy recently with work and being tired and just in general not having enough time! I've been neglecting my blog a little, and completely neglecting my YouTube channel as filming videos takes too much effort. I really need to stop procrastinating! I'm sorry!

I figure I'll post a few random photos that were on my phone (my camera is out of batteries which is part of the reason I've not been good with my blogging).

My family have Longleat annual passes, so we go really often! Our visit tied in the Black Milk Photo A Day challenge day that was 'with an animal' so I got photos with the cuties!

Beautiful house. I'd love to do a lolita meet here, but entry is too expensive and you need to be able to drive, which sucks.

We also had a short trip to Weston-Super-Mare.

We ate chips and then went back home haha.

Update

Well I fiiiinally gave in my dissertation! Sadly it's really bad and I know I made mistakes and my discussion was crap and it was a right palava getting it printed and bound (I forgot to include something that has to be there even though we won't get marks for it and they probably won't even read it) but yeah...


I've also had to give 2 presentations this week and still have one to do next Tuesday, with a ton of other busy things too, so forgive me for not writing any proper entries for ages! After next week it should calm down a bit as I'll just have 3 essays left to do (wahh I don't want to do more work!).

Choo-choo!

Last Saturday I went to Cranmore with my boyfriend and his mum for some lunch and a ride on the steam train!


I thought it was good fun, but Rob was less impressed!

I was a fool and didn't put suncream on as I didn't think it was going to be sunny...


Awkward tanline is awkward! Note to self - shorts, suspenders and OTKs are not a good idea! Now I'm stuck with this on ONE leg. And my short-wearing is ruined for the rest of the Summer (but oh well).

Also this week I saw a cat on a motorcycle!


I am currently staying at my friend's house and she's coming to stay over mine tonight. Hoorah, contact with humans! Although we spent all last night watching Fringe, are currently on our laptops in silence, and will probably spend tonight watching Pretty Cure. But oh well, I like this =3

And finally, not this weekend but the next I am meeting with my frilly friends! It feels like forever since I got loli-ed up to see them. I also have a new lolita dress (the first in a long while) waiting for me back in Bath, although I'm unlikely to go back this week. But I'll post about it when I do get back.

Well really all that's been happening with me was a sudden influx of stuff I had to do so I had to actually *gasp* do some work! Although data collection hasn't been going too well (only had 4 participants so far), I had a report to write and now I have to start making my database. I have no idea where to start so I'm ignoring it today - the plan is to lock myself in the lab tomorrow until it's done as I concentrate better there with no windows and no distractions and no endless cups of tea!

In other news, I'm actually kind of on speaking terms with all of my housemates now after spending 9 months solid ignoring them and generally being annoyed by their assholishness. So it's not really something I was expecting! I actually get on with all of them really well, so it's a shame it didn't happen sooner. Things are kind of awkward in other ways now, but nothing I can't handle. Probably.

Oh, I also finally got my hands on a Glimmer Wings pony! I bought her from Amazon as it was the first time I'd seen any being sold in the country. I just bought the other two on Ebay so hopefully they'll arrive soon too. Haven't had a new pony in ages!


Concerning vinyls, I have a bunch more now! You can view them here. Next post will probably be a Frank Turner related one as I recently ordered a bunch of cool stuff. Not sure if it'll all come though as I had problems with my card for my vinyl order and had to reorder. One of the items I wanted went out of stock between orders =/ hope my payment actually goes through this time!!

Off out to enjoy (well, to tolerate) the nice weather now! So until next time...

General Update

Sorry about neglecting you guys, but I just switched to the new Blogger and have been scared to try writing a post as it all looks so different. I hate change *grumblegrumble* ...and it seems I now have to code in paragraphs myself (I always write straight into HTML as it tends to mess up less!).

I haven't really been up to all that much! Work-wise my old study has fallen through as we couldn't get a long enough wire for the EMG. We tried running the EEG outside of the box, but there was just too much electrical interference so we couldn't see the brain waves at all. So now I have to start from scratch doing something completely unrelated...and naturally, I'm feeling really unmotivated! I only have 10 weeks to get ethical approval and get all my data though, so I ought to get my butt into gear!

Lolitawise, there was a picnic meet a while ago!

It was strange as there were so many people I didn't know, and my other half wanted to come (I'd invited him as a joke and he actually wanted to come, ahaha).


I only stayed for the picnic, but the others went on to the fashion museum! I hadn't been in a museum mood (I prefer to do such things alone).

Other than that, I haven't been up to much! I got a little collection of eggs for Easter I suppose (and I have another at my uni house), and had fun wearing my ears again.


Candy-cat liked them too.


This is the last day of a 5-day weekend. So this is the last day I can get away with not working! I also have to choose my modules for next year on the 18th, and have no idea what to take. Psychology is getting dull ^_^'

I should have things to write about later this week though, as I have a busy weekend ahead! Sadly I'm missing out on more frilly stuff though =[

Anywho, off to do some watercolour now! This may be disastrous.
