Moving Sale

Black Milk had a sale. And the sale items will disappear for good once sold out. Oh god why.

I had expected everything to sell out before I got to it, but I ninja-ed too well and got everything I had aimed for (it was all in my basket before the site went down, so it was a straight checkout).

I decided to try on the US site first as I wasn't sure all the items would be in stock on the other site.

I'd been eyeing the Galaxy Purple Catsuit 2.0 since forever and I felt like the only Sharkie without it, so it had to be done. I chanced the Bootlet Net Leggings as I figured they'd look cool under just about everything. I wish I had the confidence to wear them as leggings, though! And since I love tartan, a Tartan Yellow Nana Suit Top. Yellow isn't great on me, but I want ALL the tartans!

And then to worldwide...

Next on my hitlist was the Chiffon Kimono 2.0 and Burned Velvet Skater Skirt, which are both pieces I'd been eyeing since I discovered the brand. Since I loved this fabric and cut separately before, I panicked and grabbed the Burned Diamond High Neck Crop. Despite never wearing my chainmail pieces that I owned, the Chainmail Shorties were so cheap and I'm more likely to wear that cut.

The skirt took a bit of stretching, I must say. It was literally the size of my thigh to begin with! Had a good giggle.

Absolutely loving these two items. The velvet feels weird around my neck though! Hoping it doesn't stretch out as it's already a tad loose at the bottom.

The next day I went back for the Matte Jade Cheerleader Skirt as, despite my doubts about the cut, I had wanted it since release and love the colour. Wish I'd gotten the matching bummers and crop, but it's too late now! I also got a non-sale basic as I need more comfy shirts to wear with leggings, and I figured that the Twist Back Top 2.0 would be perfect.

They don't go together, but whatever. The skirt is too damn big which is bloody annoying! The weight will pull it down, so I'll have to tuck shirts into it to hopefully keep it up.

A couple days later I went back to the US site for a Tartan Red Touchdown as I'd been wanting to try one of these for a while and figured I'd be more likely to wear this than the pastel one (after much deliberation...the decision was quite difficult!).

I wasn't sure about it when I tried it on, but I wore it again today and I love it now! Wish I'd bought more of them in the sale as they're just too expensive full price. Definitely need to hunt down a mesh one second hand...

Here's a mishmash of a few more things worn. I'm not sure when I'll ever get to wear the kimono, I only wanted it for the gala but it didn't arrive in time! The bv skirt isn't the most flattering as there's quite a lot of lumpy fabric, but it's still super fabulous.

Just gutted I can't try on the leggings or catty until my tattoo heals! And also gutted that they took so long to arrive and I got hit with customs on every damn thing.

Game Of Thrones aka Yet More Black Milk

After falling in love with some items in this collection, I finally sat down and watched Game Of Thrones! I've also made more progress in reading A Clash Of Kings finally after starting it last Summer.

Customs was just over £30 again (boo). Ordered on 27th March, shipped on the 7th April, and arrived on the 22nd.

This time I got a Wonder Woman postcard, small sticker, and even a badge!

Drogon & Rhaegal Dragon Egg Skater Skirts - $60.01 (£33.37) each

I couldn't choose between the skirts, so I ended up buying both!

I probably shouldn't have, but I love them both so I don't regret it.

Drogon Dragon Egg Vegas Suit - $100.00 (£55.61)

I loved this when I saw it, but thought it was way too expensive and wouldn't look right on my chubby, flat-chested body. But I bought it on impulse one day when I needed cheering up...oops!

I found it funny that the size is printed on the crotch for some reason.

The cut is really strange as it doesn't stay covering my boobs at all, although this may be because my boobs are very small.

No booooooobs. Will need boobtape or glue or something!

It's fun to experiment with ways of tying it!

I'm really looking forward to hitting the beach in it, although I wish they'd released a regular swim version.

Velvet Mulled Wine Evil Cheerleader 2.0 - $120 (£66.73)

I also picked this up off Ebay for £44.20, so I saved quite a lot.

I love velvet, although when I wore this I ruined it immediately as my seatbelt rubbed against the shorts I was wearing underneath (I'd forgotten my safety shorts and don't like not being covered up). I'm hoping I can steam it out though, and at least I learned my lesson on how to treat velvet! It's still stunning anyway.

Cathedral Dress - Museum Piece

Lastly, I bought this from Sophie for £25! It's a size smaller than I'd have thought to buy, but it fits really well. I love it to pieces even though it's too low cut for my liking. I guess I have to learn to flaunt it!

This was the print that really got me into the brand, and it really doesn't disappoint. I think it'll be good for layering under shorts or even under tops to look like a skirt!

My addiction continues to grow! I'm really tempted to get the Drogon leggings just to complete my little set.

More Black Milk Skaters!

I made another direct order! It was so hard whittling down my wishlist to an affordable level. I'm probably going to make another order as soon as my next paycheck gets in. It's an addiction, I fear.

I placed the order on the 14th March UK time, and it was shipped on the 17th. Customs hit me, but it was just over £30 which I didn't think was too bad. At least I was expecting it this time! It got to me on the 31st, after a 'sorry we missed you' lie from Royal Mail.

The stuff!

Tartan Red Skater Skirt - $50 (£27.31)

This was my main reason for ordering. I love tartan a lot, and I love skater skirts, so when this was released I was filled with want.

Velvet Black Skater Skirt - $60 (£32.77)

I was torn between this velvet piece and the burned velvet version, but since I already own this one in wine and know how lovely it is, I decided to get this one (first). Can you believe I didn't own a plain black skirt until now? I will surely wear this a lot.

Adventure Time Bro Ball Reversible Skater Dress - $95 (£51.88)

I also finally caved and bought this dress that I'd been eyeing since the Adventure Time collection was released. I really wish I'd bought the Princess Bubblegum one when I had the chance so I could have the full Adventure Time skater set. Hopefully one day!

I also made an order for some of the Game Of Thrones collection, so I'm looking forward to its arrival! I started watching the show again in the hopes that I will finally bring myself to finish reading A Clash Of Kings haha.
