Harry Potter Studios

On Tuesday 1st of September, it was time to return to Hogwarts!

I ended up leaving a little later than I had planned as mum decided to give me chores just as I was leaving! After dropped my bag off at my hostel on Edgware Road, I headed to Watford Junction to meet some sharkies!

We headed to Tinseltown for lunch, and I had the BEST MILKSHAKE EVER. It was super expensive but chocolate brownies are sooo yummm. My burger wasn't great, but the fries and dips were!

We met more sharkies outside the Harry Potter Studios!

I took way too many photos in there, but everything was so awesome!

It's amazing how many oil paintings were made!

Umbridge's office was my favourite part. So much pink! And kittens! It was someone's job to film kittens playing to put on the plates!

Erf ter Hergwertz

I want a hippogriff!

Love all these technical sketches!

So huge!

We ended up spending about 4 hours at the studios in total, which was much longer than I was expecting. I'd love to again, hopefully when I have more money to spend in the shop as there were so many awesome things!

I just ended up getting these after trying to talk myself out of the scarf. I really shouldn't have bought it, it was almost £30...

The bottom bunk was really hard to get into when I got back, but I fell asleep pretty quickly!

Ended up leaving the hostel early as had to be out by 10 anyway. Sat in Hyde Park for barely 5 minutes before a guy started talking to me and sat by me and wouldn't go away. So I shared the spliff he offered me and then ran away afterwards and wigged out in Paddington Green for a bit before meeting the others at Marylebone haha oh god I cannot adult.

Erika with the giant camel in Hamley's!

Spent aaaages in the Disney Store! I wish I had more moneyyyy so many Tsum Tsums!

Group shot on the pumpkin carriage!

Instead of going to the museum for the bigger sharkie meet, I chose to stay out shopping. But soon left to spend a few hours back at The Green Man reading because I was too tired to do much else.

My little Disney haul! Can tell Halloween is coming.

Cute gifties from Katelyn!

So exhausted now, feel super ill. Had such a good time though! I think I may have to recover for a bit before I write up my posts about Reading as it seems a bit overwhelming right now.

Camp Sharkie 2015

The last weekend of April saw the first Camp Sharkie event! Basically a bunch of Black Milk fans heading to Centerparcs at Longleat for a weekend. I was unsure of attending at first, but since Longleat is only down the road for me I figured I should go anyway!

Off to the woods we went! I arrived at around 3pm on Friday.

Since there were over 70 of us, we were split into a fair few lodges. The main lodge was huuuuuge with a hot tub & stuff. We (the Hell Yeah Hammerheads) drew the short straw and had the one lodge that was really far away from everything. It was cute though, as you can see!

And being far out meant that we got to use the land train!

May have had a bit too much to drink at the meet in the evening. I don't even remember this being taken...

On Saturday afternoon we had a cheeky squirrel put its paws on our window, so we gave it Doritos!

There was a big buy/sell/swap event in the afternoon. I somehow managed to not buy anything, but sold a few pieces I never wear (already regret parting with my Wallpaper Princess Pink Evil Zip Dress. I didn't feel pink suited me but had people all weekend saying it did! So will be hoping to rebuy it eventually *cries*).

Gift exchange! So pleased with my cross-stitch stuff & cute accessories.

Then we had galaxy-theme photos!

My fellow Hammerheads ♥

In the evening there were more drinks, but after spending most of the day hungover I passed. Instead I went back to the lodge alone to make sweet potato fries and watch Super Sonico, which I think was a wise choice! I did miss playing pass the parcel with 70 people though, which was a shame.

Sunday morning I was finally on track with an early-morning run! I had planned to do that every day but failed. It was mostly a walk as I'm really unfit, and I felt a little embarrassed as there were tons of decent joggers out haha.

Then I undid any good work by going to the Pancake House with some of my housies. I felt a little sick afterward but it was SO WORTH IT.

The pool party was in the afternoon. I tired rather quickly of swimming since there was no laned pool (dumb people getting in the way everywhere so I couldn't swim. Or the wave machine would drown me), so I got a fruit cider and a meatless dog instead of staying in!

Looks like everyone else had fun though!

I was quite happy watching Labyrinth for the 100000000000th time.

Cutie fish in the Village on the way back.

We had a quiet(-ish) movie night in the evening, with Mean Girls & popcorn & onesies galore!

Monday morning was another early start, but I plumped for a power-walk rather than failing at a run again. This was Cascades.

Nice of the weather to improve when we were all about to leave!

SHARKBOAT HOO HAH HAH.

QUACK

Unfortunately we had to be out of accommodation by 10am, so I left pretty early. I would definitely go to another even like this though. Really missing all the Sharkie babes now =[

Bristol Sharkie Meet

I've been rubbish with blogging again, haven't I?

On Saturday, I finally met more Sharkies! There was a little meet in Bristol and I was working the morning for once rather than afternoon, so I couldn't exactly not go.

I decided to wear Unearthly Vs Earthly Delights IOD as it's easy to coordinate it comfortably. I think I may have gotten a bit carried away though I ended up in quadruple BM by adding A-Sassy-Nation Bodysuit, Spider Eyes Hosiery, and Matte Black Bummers.

And of course I wore the Docs that match the dress!

After meeting up at Cabot Circus we headed to Giraffe for cocktails. Unfortunatey they couldn't do me an Amarettini, so I had to go for a strawberry cider. And I couldn't resist sweet potato fries!

Atfer a quick wander around the shops and a failed attempt to find anywhere better to eat, we ended up in Five Guys at around 7pm. I was sad as they don't do a veggie burger, but the cajun fries were super nice, and the grilled cheese with onion and jalapenos was acceptable (I'd also add hot sauce and green pepper next time!). The drinks were free refills, and the machines had over 100 drink options! American wizardry, I tell you!

Stealing this photo from Sarah as I would have felt odd taking photos of people I didn't really know yet =P

Hoping I get to know everyone better in future though! Now a little less worried about Camp Sharkiecon (although still dreading it...).
