I wanted to take photos of eeeeeeverthing, so I'm having to split my Kyary Pamyu Pamyu stuff into 3 posts!


Since I missed the show last year (I bought a ticket but then sold it as I wasn't sure about spending so much money), I knew I had to go this year. It was still a hella expensive trip, even though I bought my train tickets in advance!


I always end up taking photos of my feet when waiting for the bus.


And of my face sometimes too!


Hurry up, bus!


I ended up getting to the train station a full hour before my train was due, so I took more selfies!


There was a bunch of cool art in the waiting room.


I also read the Metro and did all the Sudoku puzzles! Haven't done them for ages, but I somehow managed to not make any mistakes.


Yummy second breakfast of cinnamon swirl that I cooked when I did my pain au chocolat for breakfast!


And Skittles to deter train-based boredom.


Since there was a tube strike, I got the Circle line train straight to Shepherd's Bush Market. I was kinda sad as it meant not getting to spend the day in museums, and I wanted to visit Harrod's as I've never been there. Next time, for sure!


I had the world's crappiest Subway for lunch. They grossly overcharged me, charging me extra for toppings I didn't want (ONIONS does NOT sound like OLIVES, I had to pick all the olives out as I can't stand them!) and charging me for a coffee instead of tea. BOOOOO. I'm painfully British so I didn't demand them to redo it and just left and complained about it to everyone haha such fail.


I think I got to the venue around 15:30, so we had to while away the time!


Mostly we all took a ton of photos.


And admired everyone's outfits!


It took me ages to decide what to wear as I wanted to make an effort. I ended up wearing my Macaron Tartan salopette from Angelic Pretty with my Drop Dead Hate Hearts shirt, Angelic Pretty Candy Sprinkle socks, and Reeboks to match my Saltrock Girls backpack. I kept accessories simple and tried to dress comfortably!


Although googly eyes felt like a must. I want to use them under my eyes again as I think it looks cool! The forehead one not so much.

Here's a little video of the queueing peeps! We saw so many different people dressed in different styles, had our photos taken, and met a cute little girl dressed as Kyary (such a little superstar).

Recent Buys!

I got some cute pink things recently that I'm hoping to use in an outfit for the Kyary Pamyu Pamyu live in April, so I thought I'd share!


First up, cute Coltrane-style shoes from River Island! I'd been eyeing up the black ones for a long time, but when I saw these I just had to get them! They were in the sale, but still £38.95 including postage which is pretty steep to me. They've now been reduced further, so snap them up HERE! Although they run reaaaaally big - I'm usually a big UK4, but these are a UK3 and still a bit big!


Angelic Pretty Macaron Tartan salopette I snapped up on ebay. The seller is actually a friend of mine. It's big and shapeless, but super adorable. The back is cuter than the front as it has tartan bows!


The tartan itself has shimmery threads in it, which I adore.

I also got some other things recently, so here they are!


Black Milk velvet skirt! I love these skater skirts, and I saw this one on ebay for a little less than it would have cost direct from the brand. I imagine I'll be wearing it a lot once the weather improves.

I also made another Aliexpress leggings order! The total was only around £30, and these will be great for Spring/Summer.

Pink Purchases!

I started writing this post a whole month ago, but was too lazy to add the photos until now so it's out of date. Sorry!

Since I just turned in my last essay and finished my degree on the 22nd of May, I treated myself to some new things! They arrived before I finished, but that doesn't matter ;P

I'd been wanting a 3DS for a while as the next Pokémon game won't be playable on the DS. I kinda feel like I'm cheating on my DS though...I've had it since Pokémon Diamond and Pearl came out!


I searched specifically for a pink one this time! I ended up getting this one secondhand for £56 with a game card with 20 games and a DS game case. Unfortunately it has a scratch on the touch screen even though the seller said they'd replaced the screen, and the stylus is missing (they sent a new one but it took almost a month and is visibly chewed). The parental lock was also on when I received it and it would have been a pain to contact Nintendo to crack it, but thankfully I guess the pin really quickly as I figured the previous owner's kid's birth year was a good place to start!


My only games at this point are Super Pokémon Rumble and the new Mystery Dungeon! I'd played the Wii trial version of Rumble before and while it's easy and probably not a very long game, it is really cute. The Dungeon one is somehow even slower than the old ones, but thankfully with fewer flashbacks. Rob bought it for me as a congrats on finishing present. I want more games, but not really sure what. I am tempted by Animal Crossing as everyone keeps going on about it, but it's expensive and honestly I think it look boring...


This is my case for it at the moment, from ArtsCow for $0.99. It was supposed to be for my make-up, but I'd rather use it for this now...*swoon*


Lastly, my Dreamy Horoscope skirt! It cost £60 secondhand, and while I felt that was quite a lot for an unpopular print/colourway combo I didn't want it to slip away. I love this shiny kind of material even if it may be looked down on by many lolitas. Of course, it's also super short! I can't wait to wear it, although that will be difficult now that I'm back home. Going to try to be brave enough to wear it at the weekend though (my mum HATES lolita and calls it ugly and children's clothes and generally bullies me about it...in addition to my being fat and useless, of course).

So I finally made a post! A lot has happened since I last posted. I have moved back home which is hell, having difficulty finding any jobs that I'm qualitfied enough for, etc. It does look like I'm on track for a 2:1 grade in my degree though, which is great as it was looking shaky at one point!

Dream Fantasy Salopette Set - ¥10,500


Equal to around £72. Sadly I ended up with pink for the third year in a row when black had been my first choice every year, and pink the third choice both the first year and this year =[


Here's the set (minus the socks as I managed to forget about them for the photo, oops!).


Initial impressions of the salopette aren't great. In this colourway it does look like oversized baby clothes, although on second inspection it is growing on me already. The print is reminiscent of Milky Planet though, which is one I still like despite no desire to own it anymore (unless in miniskirt form).


The stitching at the hem is quite visible and the lace isn't cut well (the overhanging bits make me cringe) and is rougher than usually found on AP items. However neither of these things would be noticeable when worn.


The star lace is soft though, and the icing buttons are cute.

It looks so short and wide though! I'm not sure whether to keep it, trade it, or just get rid. My legs are nowhere near slender enough to pull off something this short without looking more shapeless and tubby than I already am. I haven't tried it on yet though, so I'm hoping I'll be pleasantly surprised.


Cute barette, still don't know how to use these really as they don't stay put in my hair.


T-shirt same as always, I now have 4 of these tees that all look the same! I wish they'd make them an inch longer as they fit me well otherwise (this seems a little longer to the eye, but may distort when worn), and a bit bummed I don't have a black one, but no doubt I'll use this one all the same.


Socks! Very cute, but the colours are a bit off compared to the salopette colours. They look thick and long though, which is great.


And the bag, a bit small for me (not enough room for emergency drink or snacks! The usual lucky pack bags have room for a huge tub of stir-fry and small bottle of vodka...), but still a good size for a small, strapped bag. It will definitely be fine for non-meet fairy-kei outfits for running to the shop or whatever, and has a little internal pocket for keys which is always a plus.

Dream Fantasy JSK Set - ¥15,750


The price above was the price from store, roughly £108. Mine ended up costing ¥18,600 (£127) at auction, which wasn't a bad deal, really.


Here's the set.


The JSK seems slightly better quality than the salopette.


The stitching is still visible but not so much, and the lace is cut much better.

Only criticism is that the white looks somewhat grey if you look closely. The white lace looks much nicer in real life, I had worried the blackXwhite would look cheap/ita.


Matching headbow is cute, pretty much a regular AP headbow. Bit plain, tempted to get some cute beads on there.


The blouse is adorable! No detachable sleeves this time and they look kind of baggy, and sadly no shirring at all. It looks quite well shaped though, so hopefully it will accommodate my bust without being overly baggy on the waist. The buttons aren't cute but the ribbon at the neck makes up for it.


More socks! The colours match a little better for these I think.


Bag same as before. Since I was expecting 2 black packs I'd have had to sell this and the spare socks, sadly since they're different I'll end up keeping both when I could really do with the money!

Overall I'm relatively pleased with my purchases as I ended up with two whole outfits for around £275, which is quite a bargain! And no doubt I'll order something next year also, and hopefully I'll finally achieve black salopette success!

Small Lolita & Fairy-Kei Haul!

I have pretty much stopped buying lolita clothes as I don't really get many chances to dress up at the moment, and I have far too many clothes anyway. BUT when I saw one of my dream dresses at auction (one I'd narrowly missed buying in the Angelic Pretty sale) I couldn't resist buying it!


My gorgeous Moon Night Theater pleated JSK in wine!



The details are amazing, from the custom AP lace to the glittery golden thread and soft ribbons.

My only problems with it are that the pleats mess up easily (this dress already needs an iron after wearing it just once), and I also max it out as there is no shirring. So I guess I should cut down on the cakes.

To make my order with my shopping service seem more worthwhile, I bought a few other things too. Unfortunately I got scammed on one item (a cotton candy sweater from Milklim - gutted as I've always wanted one of those sweaters!).


A silly OTT furry jacket from Angelic Pretty! I have no idea what I'll wear it with, but the price was good and it's just so silly I couldn't not buy it. All the lace is detachable and amazing quality. I'd love to try a hime outfit with it, but that would require doing my hair and make-up properly xP


Swimmer shoes! I haven't tried them on yet, but they should be fine. I thought they'd be cute for fairy-kei style outfits.


And lastly, a long Milklim top. I wasn't majorly keen on it when I bought it, I just really wanted to own some Milklim as it's easily one of my favourite clothing brands. However upon seeing it in real life, I love it!


The colours and details are so cute. It's more shapeless than I'd thought it'd be though, but I'll have fun making some coords with it.


Not from Japan, but I figured I'd add these here anyway - a cute panda purse from New Look. It's pretty tiny and a bit crushed already, but pandas are so cute xP


And these were from Asda. The Hello Kitty pencil was 37p and the Monster High case was 75p! I was annoyed though as there was supposed to be a 75p MH notebook too, but they were sold out. And Asda had tons of cool stuff I wanted but couldn't buy as I was with mum (they had dollymix ponies (the G3 kind!), and Cupid).

I also have a few non-cutesy clothing purchases I'll share in a seperate post tomorrow =]
